Sometime 2 years ago, I noticed this little stall with probably less than 15 small tables somewhere in Cheras and out of curiosity, both my girl friend & I decided to give it a try.

As per the title, they serve both Nasi Lemak,

as well as Ramly Burger.

This is Det, the owner of this little stall. (Cool dude, spoke to him, not much of response & not much of reaction. Hmm, come to think about it, could be blur also rite?)

All their workers here (Except Det because boss must look different, hehe), are with uniform, with Det’s face printed at the frontal part of the tee,

& Det’s cool pose (With hands tucked into the pocket, I think those cartoon boots are probably Dr.Marten) at the back part of the tee.

So, enough of the tee & now comes the good stuffs. Yes! This is my favourite, I usually have it once a month. I wanted to have it once weekly, but there are also other good food, of which I will post, bit by bit over here at buurps.
What’s so special about the Nasi Lemak? Yeah, it looked pretty simple, just like an ordinary Nasi Lemak rite? But I can assure you, what that makes it special is the rice, as well as the Sambal. I am not too sure of what kinda ingredients being used in the rice, but its definitely not the typical Lemak rice I’ve tasted before. I believe they’ve added some herbs, that the rice emit a certain kind of aroma. As for the Sambal, its my favourite, which managed to strike the balance on being both sweet & spicy at the same time. (I usually asked for more Sambal)

Along with the Nasi Lemak, they serve Ayam Kampung Goreng (Fried Village Chicken), which is more solid (In terms of the texture of the meat) & COSTLY, but with less meat. Obviously, I still prefer the ordinary fried chicken, which is much more tender & crispy on the skin.

Just to show you a closer look of the ordinary fried chicken. Oh, yummy! I am gonna go there soon!

This is how their burger is served. You have a choice of holding it up (With big bites) to enjoy, with sauces spilling all over, sticking all over your lips or to eat it gently with fork & spoon. For me, I prefer to eat it with fork & spoon (Too many people around to show them my hungry look.. Hehe).

I would say, the burger is quite good. They are never stingy to give you more ingredients, & what I like most is the combination of mayonaise, black pepper sauce & chilly sauce. Not to forget, a piece of cheese & when its placed on top on the cooked beef. Melting cheese is simply superb!
Det Station is located in Cheras, Taman Saraya. Its not too far from ‘Little Genting’. For those Nasi Lemak lovers, do give it a try. Cheers & happy buurping!
