Hi all, have any of you heard of banana that can scream? Pure illogical right?
But there’s really such a place that exists in our neighbourhood & I present you Screaming Banana Cafe & Restaurant.
The decoration of this place is pretty simple, basically with a transparent glass, filled with water, decorated with stones & artificial plants on every table.
With posters & light decorations to filled up the empty wall.
If you want to place your order, all you have to do is by pressing the bell, the waiter/ess will go over to your table to collect orders. (I have the tendency to play with it, when they come, just say sorry.. Hehe)
The food they serve over here ranges from Asian favourites ie. All sorts of Fried Rice.
To Western food, Spaghetti as well as some light bites.
With my stomach semi-filled (Had my late breakfast) & my girl friend feeling hungry, she ordered Fish ‘N’ Chip, which turned out to be quite big of a portion, enough to filled both our stomach. (I have to help out) Apart from that, the fish isn’t fishy & is good enough to satisfy us.
You know, after started writing about food entries over here in buurps, I slowly discovered what I really like & yeah, one of them is ABC. (As I’ve also ordered ABC in my previous entry) Anyway, for this ABC, I find it okay. It wouldn’t be something that I will really shout about.

Oh yeah, if you are really interested to learn about condoms, they’ve got a framed poster on a series of condoms. Hmm, I wonder whether they have samples or selling any of it?
So, Screaming Banana is located in Phileo Damansara. I wouldn’t really suggest you to go all the way there to try out. But if you happen to be there for a business appointment, you can consider trying out over there. Who knows, you may even discover good stuffs there?

Pssst.. Apparently, I heard from some insider that their famous food is not Fish & Chip, nor their Western Food.. Rather their NASI ULAM.. So, in case you are there, do give it a try..

Yeah…the place and menu didnt change much.. me and my ex-colleagues at clipsal used to go there at least twice a month for lunch….it is a nice & cozy place ..You should also try the the capati at the mamak accross the street. It comes with nice yogurt salad as a side dish..not sure whether they still have it there din go back after 4 years edi
I hardly go to that area.. It was so happened that I was in Eastin having some meeting & after that got hungry.. So, went over to SB to have lunch.. Will give it a try when I m there again..
