Whenever I think of Pan Mee (Hokkien-style egg noodle soup, are made of hand-kneaded pieces of dough, while others use regular strips of noodles), its usually the soup based or the dry based, stirred with dark color sauces.

But today I am going to introduce you to something slightly different, but with quality assurance. Here’s Uncle preparing Pan Mee for the hungry customers.

Usually, apart from Uncle, Aunties are there to assist in preparation.

This is the bowl of Pan Mee, where I once encountered some dudes waited until got angry, slammed the table, poured the drinks & walked off in a group. But what’s so special about it?

‘Its so special, so fresh and smooth, so delicious……’ & please continue reading from the picture. Oh yeah, they don’t need to come up with banners or posters of any sort to promote their Pan Mee, all they need to do is to write it on the wall.

Apart from what you’ve just read, which I agreed & acknowledged as an experienced customer in Kin Kin, this is “The Thing” that serve as the “Oommpphh factor” – Their super hot chilly.

Okay, here’s another advertising message. They even advise/recommend their new customers how to go about eating their special Pan Mee. That’s mainly because the chilly is very spicy & for those whom can’t take spicy stuffs, its highly not recommended. (Maybe just a little bit lar, okay?)

This is how it looked like after adding their special chilly.
From my personal experience, I really think that they really put in effort in preparing the mee. Honestly, as what they’ve written on the wall, its all true to the dot. The quality of the mee is extremely good, I mean, I really enjoyed the biting sensation as its really tender & somewhat sticky. (Not the gross type of stickiness) Apart from that, the minched meat, the egg, the fried anchovies & the chilly all blended in very well & its very tasty.
Just to share with you that if you are there during lunch time, do expect to either stand & wait for your seats, or to sit with others whom you don’t know. (Tumpang table) The reason for the wait is because they want to maintain their quality & not to rush to produce a lousy bowl of Pan Mee. Sometimes, you will hear them screaming at each others, especially during lunch time.

Well, apart from their trademark Chilly Padi Pan Mee, they too have soup-based but to me, its nothing to shout about. Honestly, I would rather stick to their dry based Chilly Padi Pan Mee.

Currently, they are located at Jalan Dewan Sultan Sulaiman, which is somewhere in the center of KL (Map provided below). This is their newer branch, which is near to Pantai Indah Hospital.
Here’s the map for you to locate the place. This place is highly recommended & I pay them a visit every at least once a month. Happy buurping, cheers!

Hhmm.. Can’t see the map.
sorry, forgot to add the map
