Well the buurps crews are at it again, this time to a Thai chain, Black Canyon Coffee to test out their lovely selection of coffee and authentic fusion menu.

We’ll start off by taking a look at their coffee selection in this article.

Like most coffee serving restaurants or café the choice of Arabica is common over Robusta seeds as the latter tends to be on the bitter side and have less flavor although having better body. And each cup of coffee at Black Canyon Coffee is prepared with a single freshly pack of coffee beans; either the Expresso Dark Roasted or Standard Dark Roasted variant, depending on the drink that you ordered.

It’s a Hottie! And there is always one type for everyone.

One of my personal favorite is the Hot Mocha, a classic drink that gives you that “chocolatey” taste pack with a punch, a great drink for the mornings or late evening at a reasonable price of RM6.95.

For those who fashion something on a classical side, this is one you should not miss. The Kopi Ancient Coffee reminds me of the time when I was in school and during holidays I would work at my uncle’s coffee shop in Malacca, traditional coffee sweeten with condense milk that gives you an ultra enriching taste. Get this classical fix at only RM6.95.

Fancy a quickie? This one will hit you with a mix feeling; bitterness and than a sourness taste follows, the Americano at RM5.95 is an acquire taste and for those looking for an immediate kick start.

Stick it in! Those who like to play with phallic looking object should try this. Well don’t think dirty now. To neutralize the unpleasant taste of cream, the Hot Espresso Coffee with Whipped Cream comes armed with a cinnamon stick, stick it in the coffee and the spice will transform the drink to a different dimension. This experience will cost you RM6.95.

Most hot drinks are served with jasmine tea, in a small shot glass, and some yummy alphabet biscuits.

Chill Babes! One more for the road?

Their signature drink at RM7.95 is a bargain, served over crushed ice in an ultra large looking cup, the Black Canyon Iced Coffee, is both refreshing and tasty. And for those who fancy the ‘Kopi-O Ice’ version, check out the Black Canyon Champ Iced Coffee @ RM6.95.

Love this drink that comes in a cute looking glass in a shape of a shoe. The Mexican Iced Coffee, RM8.50 is a great after dinner drink with a nutty soft taste serve in crushed ice and kahlua syrup.

Blow me away! Prepared with a whiff of Rum syrup, the Jamaican Blast is out of this world with a combination of sweet and bitter that will surely knock your dreadlocks off. Rasta babe!

Blended and not Stirred!

The all time best seller in the restaurant, this refreshing drink comes served with a scoop of coffee ice cream on top to compliment the richness and smoothness of the coffee, simply authentic. The Mocha Glacier will glaze you over at RM8.95.

If you like your espresso blended, check out the Blackpuccino, topped with creamy white milk, its smooth snow like features will blow you away. For only RM8.95, it’s a bargain.

There is always something for everyone …

For those who prefers something different, The Tropical Tea is a refreshing change. At RM6.50, this drink not only refreshes your senses, it gives you the soothing feeling as well.

Domo Arigato! We are quite accustom to having green tea as it is, but at Black Canyon, The Iced Green Tea (with Milk) is something really different. The perfect mix of green tea with milk, gives you a total new experience to it. At RM6.5, this is a must try drink.

For those who loves eating chocolate regularly for pleasure, this is something close to it. The Iced Chocolate; RM6.90, is packed with rich chocolate taste. One of the best around!

Smooth Criminal ….

For those who love some smoothies , the Strawberry Delight; RM7.95, is rich and power packed with enriching strawberry flavour, giving it a generous feel to it.

One of my favourite drink to compliment my Tom Yam. The Phuket Paradise, a frozen coconut yogurt drink is simply refreshing with a pinch of pineapple taste to it. A sure way to beat off the spiciness on your tongue and at RM7.95, it’s a ‘hot’ buster.

There are other selections in their coffee or beverage only menu, try them all and let us know which one works best for you.

Something very interesting to note, Caffeine, world’s primarily source is coffee, is found in many plant species, where it acts as a natural pesticide, caffeine paralyzes and kills certain insects feeding upon the plant.
