Buurps crew made a stop at the Asian Food Channel (AFC) Studio located in 181 Orchard Road, Singapore just last week.
How did we get to know about this place? We’re just regulars on ASTRO’s Channel 703 – which is AFC (Asian Food Channel) and we’ve seen the AFC Studio advertisement often enough to arouse our curiosity.
Channel 703: The Asian Food Channel (AFC) gives the Asian perspective and champions Asian heritage and culture. A wide spectrum of content genres, though primarily food-based, and includes programs featuring celebrity chefs. Other content range include travelogues, reality, current affairs and variety.

The AFC Studio
The Studio occupies a section of the seventh floor of Orchard Central, a shopping complex at a bustling of Orchard Road. The AFC Studio welcomes us with an ambience that spells original simplicity.
The studio is themed after the distinct colors of AFC – green, yellow and white. The well spaced chairs and modern fixtures provide a contemporary and cozy feel to the place.

AFC Merchandises
The studio carries a plethora of AFC merchandises – yup, including those you see on AFC channel like the Kai knives, the Green pan and many others that you’ve never seen on TV, like say the books, the T-shirt range, fragrances, mugs, souvenirs and so on so forth.

The AFC Cooking School offers various classes to cater to your culinary interests.
At present, the studio is some what limited when it comes to the variety of classes but I’m sure you can expect more to come from AFC.

The studio is also an alternate filming space for AFC programs, a great place for fans to meet their favorite celebrity chefs.

The AFC studio is open to public, so whether you’re a fan of the AFC Channel, you can always chill-out at the studio as they are open daily from 12.00 noon to 8.00 pm.
