Korean Experience @ Bulgogi Brothers While it’s not our first time dining at a Korean restaurant, it’s been quite a while since we visit a Korean restaurant as well.

Speaking of Korea – do check out Psy’s Wiki Korea, we wrote about his not long ago (click here).

For this article, we dined at the Bulgogi Brothers’ eCurve outlet.

We ordered Bulgogi Bibimbab (RM 29.90) which is a combination of beef and vegetables, served on top of rice and special spicy sauce.

Upon serving, the waiter will assist you in mixing all the presented content into what seems to resemble our local fried rice. 😛

It was tasty though, the Korean sauce mixed with eggs, beef and a whole lot vegetable makes this a very balanced, healthy dish.

Another dish we ordered was the Kangdoenjang (RM 22.90), traditional Korean soyabean paste stew with minced beef, green chillies, tofu, doenjang. A dish loved by all Koreans.

After the mix ……

Our dishes came with appetizer – marinated lotus root, pumpkin-sweet potato mash, marinated water spinach, white radish pickle, spicy kimchi, edamame, sweet potato, corn.

There is also the complimentary Oksusu Cha (corn tea). Just picture tea, with corn flavor – a traditional Korean tisane made from boiled roasted corn kernels.

We also ordered a Korean specialty drink called Korean Shik Hye (RM 7.90)- a sweet refreshing cold drink made from rice, it tasted like barley but it’s on the much sweeter end of the scale.

Lastly, we also tried Korean ice cream. (RM 5.90 each). I took the one that was described as the Frozen Sprite. It was sweetness overload for sure, the ice cream feel like ice that’s coated with sugar and it’s too sweet for my liking.

The other one we tried was the watermelon ice cream, it had watermelon taste but it’s still very sweet.

Our dinner here came to almost RM 100. 🙂

Was the food good? Yes, it is. Give it a try if you haven’t tried Korean food, this might be something you’ll enjoy.
