I first noted Tappers when they opened at Jaya One many years back, what caught my attention was their colonial style decor and their menu.
Tappers has since expanded to various other outlets, including places like Damansara Uptown and Ara Damansara.
The RM 13.90 Hainanese chicken chop set was delicious, with the crust sufficiently crispy and the meat well cooked. The dish comes accompanies with gravy, green peas, potato, onions and carrots.
The Fish & Chip set is a little cheaper, coming in at RM 12.90 (hrmm, usually fish & chip costs more). 2 pieces of tender fish, served with french fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce and a slice of lemon. It was a good meal, I just with they served 3 pieces of fish because they’re really tasty.
Lastly, the Chicken Parmigiana, also priced at RM 13.90 just like the Hainanese chicken chop. The breaded chicken fillet, topped with oozing melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese and served with chips & coleslaw. The melted cheese makes this dish special, especially for those who love cheese.
The lunch sets come with drinks too, with a choice Honey Lemon, Lemon Tea, Lime Juice or Goo Leng Ping. As you can see, Lime Juice is not part of the picture below.
