The shop sports a front that doesn’t call for attention. I only noticed it as I was going around deciding what to have for tea.
Just as with other restaurants, their sets are usually their best value offering so I decided to go with Set Meal 3 – Any sandwich + fresh roll + ice tea or soy milk or mineral water or hot tea.
Pretty neat for something that’s under RM 15. Below are the available bread for the sandwich, not as elaborate or aromatic as those from Subway but nevertheless they’re pretty decent actually.
Oh by the way, they call it Vietnamese sandwich. I’ve no idea how is it Vietnamese but from what I gathered, it’s called Bahn Mi. More details right here.
Here’s the content of the sandwich I ordered, which I think is a really balanced offering. Bread, vegetables and meat in good combo and portion.
It also comes with Spring roll (some of you may be more familiar with the term “Popiah”).
Give it a try if you’re at Publika, it’s on the same floor as the Chinese food court. In fact, it’s just near that food court (the opposite end of Ben’s Independent Grocer) right at the foot of the escalator.
