I regard this place as one of the hidden treasures for dining in Kuala Lumpur, 1-Stop is a Cafe that’s not facing the main road but has good crowd as they serve good (general) tasting meals at affordable price.
The shop is as hidden as what you see in the picture below, I’ll leave the interior for you to discover because it seems that I forgot to photograph them despite my many visits.
For those wanting a “safe” dish to order, the Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken (RM 9.50) is the one for you. Well cooked chicken, maintaining its tender meat and juicy content, covered with the rendang sauce.
The 1-Stop Chicken Chop (RM 11.50) is also one of their signature dishes, lovely gravy covering the entire piece of chicken that’s placed on top of sliced potatoes.
The Chicken Brinjal Noodle (RM 7.50) under their Homemade Noodle section would be great for those who love noodles and brinjals. If you are looking for something with some spice, try the next dish.
The Minced Meat Kimchi (RM 7.50) noodle adds the Korean taste (and the spice of course) into the noodle.
One thing to avoid though, is their Cheese Baked Rice. The one photographed here is their Chicken Cheese Baked Rice (RM 10.50) that’s so horrible to the taste, I can’t finish even a quarter of it.
It wasn’t a one-case incident on that, I happened to walk by the restaurant some other day and saw someone left their Cheese Baked Rice half-finished as well, I’m not surprised.
Overall it’s a good place to try if you’re near by Jalan Ipoh area.
