Going Mexican at Frontera Sol of Mexico @ Jaya One

Tucked at a rather quite corner of Jaya One is a humble looking restaurant that serves good Mexican food, at least for the not-so-Mexican me. :D

We were spoiled for choices, all those unfamiliar names like Enchiladas, Burritos, Tacos, Chimichangas seem interesting yet it’s so difficult to finalize on our choice of dish.

In the end we settled for Chicken Enchiladas (RM 30.50), corn tortillas oven baked in sauce, served with various fillings and topped with cheese. For our enchiladas, we had Mexican rice as part of the side dish.

It was a tasty dish, much to the Mexican flavor of rice and spice.

The Texas BBQ Burger (RM 26.95) was a surprise, I usually don’t put much hopes on any new burger I try but this one surprised me. I ordered the patty to be medium but what I was served seems more well than what a medium should be, luckily it’s not well done and the burger still tastes great!

Then there’s the Ceasar Salad (RM 10.95), one that I couldn’t complain for its price. Fresh green vegetables topped with cheese and pieces of bacon bits. :D Lovely!

Lastly, our desserts was the Black Label Sundae – nothing to do with Johnny Walker. :) It was delicious but I think they should have more ice cream and less chocolate cake (I think) chunks.

If you’re looking for some place Mexican to try, we highly recommend this restaurant. Head on to their website for more details.

Oh by the way, there’s no sign of rodents screaming “Arriba! Arriba! Andale! Andale!”.
