My first impression was, “What’s with the creepy looking teletubbies like logo?” Nevertheless I still gave it shot and then wonders happened.
I fell in love with its rich creamy, smooth, tangy and slightly sweet flavours that no other brand offered me. It’s best serve as dipping sauce for any deep fried food.
Kewpie Mayonnaise, 500g (RM12.90)

I have been playing around with it ever since, trying it on many types of fried food. Yum! Ooh, not to forget I gave my simple home made oven-toast chicken nuggets (Ramly brand) sandwich with a few slices of vegetables in it, a little squirt and guess what?, … it made this simple sandwich taste quite close to McDonald’s McChicken burger.
Really, you wouldn’t believe it until you personally try it.
I know the price is towards the high side, but if pricing is your obstacle, try making your own. Here’s a how-to video to make your own Kewpie mayonnaise and the recipe.
Look, Kewpie mayonnaise comes in other flavours too.
If you have found something great, you wouldn’t want to let go of it, would you?
Have fun trying out the recipe. 🙂
