Burger Junkyard isn’t a new player in the gourmet market, their original outlet is at Kota Damansara of which I’ve yet the opportunity to visit.
It was a good thing they opened one at Damansara Perdana as it spares me the hassle of going rather insane traffic over that side of town.
Burger Junkyard’s theme is quite dark, kind of reminds me of abandoned warehouses with graffiti on the walls – it is after all, a JUNKYARD!
The menu is listed at the chalk board that’s placed at the counter.
I ordered the Beef in Blanket and it was pretty good for what it’s worth, RM 18.90 with refillable drinks. The french fries weren’t special but they were tasty nonetheless. The beef patty still retains its juice, the beef bacon tasted good too and I would that they give a little bit more of it. 😀
We also tried their Texas Hold Me (RM 19.90), chicken version, and it tastes good too. Weird as it may seem, the burger tasted like “satay burger” (read : satay chicken).
Besides burgers, do check out their Gems Coffee.
We tried the Iced Green Tea Latte and we were pleasantly surprised, the drink tasted more like bandung made dense and sweetness reduced, does it make sense? Well, that’s the best I can describe it.
Burger Junkyard has abang goldfries’ seal of approval for good burgers. 😀 kthxbai!
