Tom-Yum Seafood @ Ractchaprasong Seafood, Bangkok

As some of you would have known by now, I was in Bangkok for an event just yesterday. I took the opportunity to try out one of the popular Tom Yum in that area that’s along Ratchadamri Road.

It was also a great opportunity to try out the new HTC One M8 smartphone. 😀

Now as you can see from the image above, it’s not even a restaurant. It looks more like a bus stop that serves food. The dining area is right by the road, just outside of Central World that’s one of the largest shopping complex in the world.

Ractchaprasong Seafood serves many other dishes but the highlight happens to be the Tom Yum.

It costs only 200 Baht but the quantity is sufficient for a few people. My host and I were able to finish this rather large bowl with ease.

The tom yum was good, I wish there were more prawns. 🙂 The tom yum was not as sour and spicy as what I hoped for but it was sufficiently tasty, it’s more towards the sweet side of things.

If you happen to be at that area, do give this place a shot!

Here’s the exact spot on Wikimapia.
