A friend of mine recommended this place to me, twice! 😛 So I thought I’d give it a shot, I was told that the servings were big.
The restaurant itself is a cozy place, warm colored decor that’s welcoming to anyone who visits.
The place seems to be rather warm as well, after all the side is wide open, offering al-fresco dining experience.
I decided to try their Chicken Chop – I like to use chicken as a basic test for restaurants. Sure enough the RM 15 chicken chop looked big but I’m disappointed to say that the chicken wasn’t big but I sure did get a lot of mashed potatoes and black pepper sauce. The iced lemon tea I ordered was horrible at best, cold at the top but totally warm at the bottom, and it has some awkward spicy smell to it.
Now back to the dish itself, it doesn’t quite feel like chicken chop as you would have at other places but it felt more like deep fried chicken served with sides. There’s little to no soul to the dish, perhaps I ordered something that’s not their strength.
During my short stay at the restaurant, I saw many people came and went. I saw their the dishes that they ordered were indeed of huge serving, often covering that 12″ plate.
While I couldn’t say that the restaurant is good, I can confirm that the servings are large so if you would like to take a gamble then Grafa’s the place. The feedback on Foursquare doesn’t look promising.
