I’m not a fan of food courts but the Nasi Kukus stall at Rasa Food Court (The Curve) caught my attention just last week because the fried chicken looked great, so I decided to give it a try today.
The Nasi Kukus corner is so obvious, you must be pretty dull if you miss it. 😀
I ordered the food at 5pm (yes, I missed my lunch!) so I wasn’t expecting it to be great, the makcik at the counter greeted me and asked me which fried chicken do I want, and which part. There’s one called BIASA (normal, regular) and another one BEREMPAH (spiced, usually referring to fried with various herbs and spices).
And this was what my RM 6.90 Nasi Kukus with fried chicken looked like.
It comes with a generous amount of papadom (thankfully they’re still crispy) and sliced cucumbers (thankfully they were fresh). I’m more surprised that the chicken still tastes good despite being leftover for who knows how many hours and had only went through a round of microwave before reaching my plate.
The nasi kusus adventure wasn’t in vain as I left the place happy, and I look forward to try other food available at Rasa Food Court some other time. Rasa Food Court is located just above Bavarian Bierhaus that’s located behind TGIF.
