The Ramadan season is but only a few days away and it is often this period of the year for the non-Malays to pick up cooking ideas of the Malay cuisine. The latest publication of ‘Sedap‘ magazine is already available. Only found in the Malay language, the RM 5.90 magazine seems to call for my attention.
It’s a norm for the Malay cuisine to come with a long list of ingredients and the common items used are onions, garlic, cloves, lemongrass, bird’s eye chili, galangal and more. One thing you may like about this magazine is that the cooking steps are simple to follow.
Here are a few illustrations of the recipes found in the magazine.
Itik Goreng Sambal
Ayam Bakar Rempah Habang
Pecak Ikan Kaloi Kacang Gajus
Tulang Patin Masak Pedas
Sambal Goreng Udang Petai
