Arabian Delights at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel with Chef Youssef Issa

Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel introduces Guest Chef Youssef Issa from the world’s tallest hotel – JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, he will be in Kuala Lumpur to tantalize the palates of the discerning local gourmands from 4 August to 29 August 2014.

Chef Youssef will be featuring a selection of hot and cold mezzehs, traditional main courses and signature desserts every evening for Dinner at Vogue Café. Now before I elabored on the details of Arabian Nights, allow me to share our experience on the preview session at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel’s Vogue Café which is located at Lobby Level – West Wing.

The highlight of the evening is a live demonstration session where Chef Youssef Issa crafts his special salad.

Of course the attendees spare no shutter to immortalize the moment.

Here’s the special salad, beautifully colored and rich with middle-eastern influenced flavors.

Salad aside, there’s a spread of arabic dishes. The picture here is the area for Cold Mezzeh while a host of main course is available, beyond the capacity of our camera to capture all of them at once. 🙂

Among them, my favorite is the Lamb Umo – it’s a lamb stew with yoghurt sauce, onion shallots, pine seed and coriander. Next to the Lamb Umo is a mix of items from the Cold Mezzeh.

And here’s a plate with a combo of items from the Cold Mezzeh.

In this picture, we have the Shrimp Machbose which is rice cooked with shrimp, cinnamon and cardamon. On top of the rice is a piece of fish from the main course called Samaka Kozbaria, fish fillet with tahina sauce, pine seed and chili paste.

  2. 686i hear the picture quality is superior (according to forums and reviews) to? the nikon d7000 (which goes for around $1200), and nearly the same or better than the canon 7d ($1500), so i think the price is around for just right 1300 is right in between

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

I have a lot of greenhouse books- the Ortho greenhouse book and the “Expert Greenhouse” book and others. This book is by far the best. I bought the first release and then upgraded to the (2000) “revised edition.” What a pleasant surprise! It covers all the bases from setting up your greenhouse to growing specific crops. Now I’m eating fresh salads and home grown greenhouse tomatoes. If you want to too- get this book! It even explains organic – chemical free pest controls!
