Ahhh this place does bring the taste of my hometown to Klang Valley. I’ve heard of Capital for a while but haven’t the chance to visit them, after all finding a parking spot at Damansara Uptown is a PITA (not the bread).
Opportunity came my way as the site of one of my photography assignments that week happens to be right across Capital, sweet!
The restaurant is very simple, it’s not a cozy looking place like say PappaRich or Old Town White Coffee, none of those. Everything was simple, with the range of food ready at the counter of which the restaurant’s staff will prepare your meal from.
I ordered Nasi Lemak Curry Chicken and to my surprise, it was as if I’m having food from my hometown! I’m was so happy that day, and I’m most certainly coming back for more. The dish costs RM 8.50, a lovely set of nasi dagang with sweet nasi dagang gravy poured on the rice, accompanied by a nicely cooked curry chicken.
While the restaurant does not have Halal Certification, they claim to use Halal Certified ingredients.
Despite the humble looking appearance, this shop is probably one of the most advanced in the country as they’re the FIRST restaurant in Malaysia that accepts Bitcoin as payment!
I wanted to try that but I haven’t setup a Bitcoin wallet on my phone, will probably give it a try in the near future.
