A quick tour of our experience with BIG’s brands.

First off is Ben’s, one of the many brands under the BIG Group.

Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G.) at Publika is a great place to shop for an assortment of imported products, the goods are generally better in quality and at premium prices. It has a mix crowd of patrons both locals to foreigners. Click here to visit the official website.

Surely you remember this outlet – Ben’s General Food Store at Bangsar Village, which is one of the many outlets in town. The most memorable item from the menu is their Lasagna at RM23.90. With its portion size and the not-so-local flavours, it definitely drives up the value and the place has a good mix crowd of foreigners and locals.

Oh ya, the pies taste good too. When you order the beef pie, you’ll literally gets to taste actual beef chunks in the filling and the brown sauce goes well with it.

Next is our latest visit at one of the Plan B outlet, Journal by Plan B at Publika.

The setting of the place attracts us most – just a look see at those huge tall comfortable seats and pillows.

It’s a wonderful place to catch up with friends or loved ones on weekends while taking time sipping their range of hot drinks and enjoying the breezy interior. The food can be secondary options as those we had were average in taste but priced on a rather higher scale. Click here to visit the official website.

Last but not least, the brand’s food outlet to highlight is the sexy ‘Beast‘. Located within Intermark, it’s a splendid place to hold small events.

Not too spacious of a place, its enchanting decorations is the key attraction as the atmosphere is superb for certain ‘dim yet cozy’ themes, while the food quality is quite similar to Journal by Plan B‘s.
