Pasta De Waraku at Changi Airport, Singapore (Non-Halal)

Travelling can be tiring, travelling may have hungry moments, yet travelling also could lead to discoveries that make you forget your hunger and weariness. 😀 Such were we, walking around Changi airport and not knowing what to eat, and we still have a few hours to go before flight.

Our tiresome stroll around the large complex lead us to Pasta De Waraku.

What made this restaurant look interesting was the wall that’s decorated by plates after plates of food, arranged in 4 rows from top to bottom. Tantalizing indeed, whoever thought of this must be a foodie.

The restaurant wasn’t food but it was crowded, seats were comfortable and the workers were attentive to our needs.

We didn’t order much as we’re boarding our flight soon, so first up would be the Waraku Salad (SGD 10.80) – Tuna, potato, eggs and wafu dressing all in a mix. Lovely dish as everything was fresh and it doesn’t cost a bomb.

Up next was the Carbonara Pizza (Regular, for SGD 15.80) – mmmmmm aweeessoooommmmmee, thin crust pizza with plenty of cheese, eggs and above all, BACON! Yes BACON, actual BACON!

Yes I am capitalizing the word BACON for emphasis.

Our meal with green tea and various charges didn’t exceed SGD 35.

There are many other restaurants at Changi Airport that looks great but as of now Pasta De Waraku is the one that has our stamp of approval. 😀
