Good for often comes from one’s own kitchen, unless of course one is incompetent then that’s another story altogether. Fortunately abang goldfries here isn’t that unfamiliar with going about in the kitchen and in one of my many experiment sessions I tried this pasta shells pack from Kraft.
What I’m surprised about the packaging is that the shells were not in any form of protection like say a plastic seal. The cheese mix was secured in a packet but not so for the shells, I can’t imagine what will happen if the box were contaminated.
Concerns aside, the Kraft Velveeta Shells & Cheese was sufficient to serve anywhere from 2 to 4 individuals, I made servings for 2 and there were much left to spare.
Preparation was easy, all you need to do was boil the shells. As for the cheese, now that’s a little tricky because it turns out not as creamy as it looks, but instead it’s a lot more dense and I quite like it. It took me quite some effort to get the cheese to mix well with the pasta shells, it looked disastrous at first but it turned out well in the end.
Kraft Velveeta Shells & Cheese retails at around RM 15.
