I was walking along the streets of Taipei, specifically along Nanjing Road, on a rainy afternoon and having skipped lunch my senses were all over the place. I was on a lookout for the next possible place to dine and I chanced upon this fancy-looking place called FAVtory.
Out of curiosity I decided to explore the place – it is actually a food court of some sort with all sorts of food available. Naturally I went for beef noodle, the warm soup would be helpful to keep me warm on a cold day. The beef noodle shop is called 港苑 and they serve a whole bunch of other goodies but my focus is well, beef noodle.
And so here’s my beef noodle, all steamed up and ready within a few minutes upon ordering.
Definitely one of the better beef noodles in town, not necessarily the cheapest but yeah it sure tastes good. The bowl comes with a few slices of tender beef, by the time the noodle is served the beef had absorbed most part of the soup thus keeping it tender and juicy. The noodle comes with a good amount of noodle and vegetable, a complete meal without having to order drinks.
The beef noodle was on offer at that time, I bought mine for 160 NT. Do expect the price to be a little higher on non-promo days.
FAVtory is located at 104, Nanjing W Rd, Zhongshan District. Facebook page is here.
