Meatworks caught our attention back in early January as we were having a casual walk around SohoKL, Solaris Mon’t Kiara after some other event.
We thought Meatworks was an interesting place because of the concept of selling meat at the same time being a diner. We thought we’d try it one day and so we did.
Myself and lexiegirl were at Sunway Giza Mall during the Chinese New Year week and we managed to sample the food served at Hoagies Hauz. We weren’t expecting anything great, especially from a name we’ve not even heard of but surprisingly the experience was something worth mentioning.
Ahh? Nam Heong Chicken Rice? First article of the year and you get Nam Heong? Does Nam Heong really serve nice chicken rice? Yes they do, in fact we just feel like their awesome chicken rice is worth highlighting.
If you are looking for an alternate taste of western dishes, away from the usual western dishes known in Klang Valley such as “steaks, pasta, pizza”; we wish to recommend you to this place called Betty’s Midwest Kitchen located at Aman Suria, Petaling Jaya (facing the NKVE).
Our recent outing was at this authentic Hong Kong roasted meat shop called UK Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant, located at a humble corner of Capital Square Center in Kuala Lumpur.
We were in fact blown away, or should I say “roasted away” by the foodilicious encounter of the 3rd kind.
