Dialects and Food - Black Beauty!

Since the last couple of months, Malaysian have been treated with a few hilarious situation, it started off with ‘It looked like ‘mee’, sound like ‘mee’ but it is certainly not ‘mee’, to sodo-’mee’ II; how ‘mee’ was ravaged by an old man who is suffering from backache, to ‘mee’ will bury you and your political career.

But let’s move on to more serious stuff, food-nalism sounds more fulfilling.

Taman Seraya Fish Ball Noodle

I am never a fan of Fish Ball Noodle, due to the look that is too plain, clear & this give me the ‘tasteless’ kind of impression. Today, I am a changed person, I now appreciate Fish Ball Noodle very much. Who knows, those whom don’t like may become a convert after reading this.

Hong Kee - Wan Tan Mee Stall

Lunch hour again, this time it was on a Sunday afternoon where I’m about to have my late lunch.

Guilt conscience was knocking at the door after a few days of constant meat intake, it’s time I have something that’s lighter on the meat so I decided to go for my usual Wan Tan Mee at SS2, Chow Yang side of town.

Hong Kee is the name of the stall (Strangely it seems, this is the 3rd article in a row with a shop or stall with the word KEE in it), you won’t get to see the words HONG KEE any where though unless you know how to read Chinese. So the first thing for you to look out for is a corner lot restaurant called OKAY.
